SDG 5: Gender Equality

SDG 5 recognises that gender equality is not only a fundamental human right but a necessary foundation for a peaceful, prosperous, and sustainable world. In schools, this means equitable classroom participation, dismantling gender stereotypes in curriculum, ensuring safe spaces for every student, and empowering young people to challenge discrimination in their communities. Gender-equal schools produce gender-equal societies.
