SDG 2: Zero Hunger
“End hunger, achieve food security, improved nutrition and sustainable agriculture.”
About This Goal
What is SDG 2: Zero Hunger?
SDG 2 aims to end hunger and all forms of malnutrition by 2030. Approximately 733 million people face hunger every day, and 3.1 billion cannot afford a healthy diet. Schools are uniquely positioned to address this crisis— through kitchen gardens, nutrition education, food waste reduction, and partnerships with local farmers that ensure students and communities have access to safe and nutritious food year-round.
