SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production

SDG 12 calls for a fundamental change in how we produce and consume goods. Humanity currently uses 1.7 planet's worth of resources each year. Schools can lead this shift by reducing waste, composting, running swap markets, auditing consumption habits, and choosing sustainable procurement— teaching students that every purchasing decision is a vote for the kind of world we want to live in.
