SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities

SDG 11 focuses on making cities and communities safe, inclusive, resilient, and sustainable for all. Over half the world's population lives in cities— and by 2030 two-thirds will. Schools can become models of sustainable community design by reducing waste, creating green spaces, engaging with local urban planning, and teaching students to be the active, responsible citizens who shape the places they call home.
